Application of Jasmy PDL in TISIWIT System
Chunichi Shimbun reported on the operation of the TISIWIT system using Jasmy Personal Data Locker technology on February 15. It was reported that at Chatan Stadium, one of the strongholds of the Sino-Japanese Okinawa Spring Training Camp, a system using smartphones that manages the entrances and exits of visitors and discloses congestion status is in operation. This system was introduced as a countermeasure against novel coronavirus infection. “Visitors can check the crowding situation on the website,” team officials said.
The camp is free to enter. This time, the system of the mobility service provider Witz (Nagoya-ku) was introduced. Visitors can register their name and email address on their smartphone in advance, then pass a special QR code through the stadium’s terminals to scan to enter and leave the stadium, if they don’t have a smartphone, they can fill out a copy at the front desk form and get a QR code, the number of visitors will be announced in real time on the team’s website, one by one.
We learned that the TISIWIT system was jointly developed by Jasmy and Witz, a well-known travel service provider. This commercial system is the first time to introduce Jasmy PDL technology to filter out sensitive user information. Personal identity verification and auditing can be carried out when the user only provides non-personal sensitive information (interests, hobbies, age, etc.). This reduces information management security risks while providing personalized service to users.
In the traditional authentication system, registered personal information must be authenticated according to personal sensitive real information (phone, ID card, address, face, etc.), but in Witz’s “TISIWIT” system, personal information is converted into encrypted personal information in Jasmy’s “Jasmy Personal Data Locker” (PDL) and identify it by confirming that the personal information in the Personal Data Locker is correct, even information about people’s behavior, which might related to COVID-19, are also be protected.
The TISIWIT system can make portraits from non-personal information (interests, hobbies, age, etc.) without the need for third-party platforms to know real personal information (phone, ID, address, face, etc.), and conduct identity verification audits.
In many scenarios such as sports events, concerts, exhibitions, libraries, airports, large shopping malls, etc., the TISIWIT system can better provide services close to users, and easily confirm participation in activities, use of facilities, entertainment and Check-in and check-out service.
This report made us realize that Jasmy’s technology has begun to be commercialized, let’s wait and see the digital information services brought by Jasmy in diversified scenarios.
